Rules

• Trash Chutes

Purpose:
To allow for sanitary refuse removal.

Rules:

• Refuse must be tightly wrapped and tied in plastic bags before depositing in chutes and shall be no larger than medium size in order to fall free.

• Do not force any refuse into chutes. Bottles, tins, hard objects and newspapers should be left for trash pickup.

• Trash chutes may be used only between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Careless use of this convenience causes added expense and annoyance to other owners.

• Make sure cigarette and cigar butts are extinguished.

• To avoid undesirable odors and for sanitation reasons, use your sink disposals for all food wastes, or leave them in tightly wrapped bags for trash pickup.

• Do not put loose trash down the trash chutes.

• Do not put pizza containers down the trash chute.
