Rules



• Pool


Purpose:

  • To prevent injuries, maintain sanitary conditions eliminate pests,
and to comply with insurance regulations and Florida state Law.

Rules:
  • Persons using the pool do so at their own risk. Pool capacity is 55.
The pool may be used between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Oct. 1 to Mar. 31 and 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. April 1 to Sept. 30.
  • The beach door will be locked from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
  • Children under 10 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Children in diapers (including ‘swim diapers’) and incontinent people may
not use the pool. In case of an accident, the owner associated with the
person responsible will be liable for any and all expenses related to
restoring the pool to its original condition, including, but not limited to,
sanitation, draining and replacement of water and chemicals.
  • Diving is prohibited.
  • Playing with or sitting on the pool-center dividing rope and floats are
prohibited.
  • Ball playing, throwing objects or horseplay of any kind is prohibited in the
pool and on the upper and lower plazas.
  • Swimming equipment is allowed when worn on one’s person or used to
stay afloat (i.e. noodles). Floats are not allowed in the pool.
  • Skateboarding, playing ball and roller blading, etc are prohibited in or around pool area or on the upper and lower plazas.
  • All persons must shower each time they enter and re-enter the pool.
  • Excess suntan oils and creams must be removed each time a person enters and re-enters the pool.
  • Remove all sand and tar before using the pool.

FYI: Facilities for removing sand and tar are available at the foot of the
 steps leading to the beach on the sea wall. Suntan oils, creams, sand, and tar can damage the pool walls, tiles, drains, and filtering systems, which lead to costly repairs and excess maintenance.
  • Food and drinks are not allowed in the pool, on the pool deck or any other
public areas except in the designated area on the upper deck central plaza.
EXCEPTION: water in plastic containers
  • Persons with skin rashes, sores, or any skin abrasions or communicable
diseases are not permitted in the pool.
  • When in beach attire, all chairs and lounges must be covered with a towel.
  • Please close table umbrellas if exceedingly windy or if after 4:00 p.m. Our staff is off duty at 4:00 p.m.
  • Persons in beach/bathing attire must wear cover-ups and footwear before
entering the lobby. Wearing wet bathing suits in lobbies, elevators or
common areas is prohibited.
FYI: There is an emergency phone to Security located in the hallway
 between the men’s and ladies’ restroom, downstairs from the pool. Follow the posted instructions for use.

FYI: A portable pool will be provided for young children with advance notice to
 Security.
FYI: Plaza East is not responsible for any theft or damage to personal property
 at or around the pool.

FYI: Please cooperate with our staff to assure these rules are being adhered to
so that all pool users can have an enjoyable time.
