• Catwalks and Stairways

Purpose:

• To provide safe passageways in an emergency

• The catwalks (emergency walkways) are to be used only in an emergency and only to access elevators and stairways.

• The stairways are for emergency exit use only.

• The bottom exterior doors are kept locked at all times. Do not prop these doors open to gain access to the stairway.

• Do not place an obstruction of any kind that will prevent passage on the catwalks or stairways.

• Do not throw any objects from the catwalks.

• Owners may not paint the catwalk floors and walls.
