Rules

Cabanas


Purpose:

To provide an appropriate and fair process to assign open cabana spaces
to owners and for the use of cabana spaces.

Rules:

  • The annual fee for a cabana space shall be fixed yearly by the Board of
Directors.

  • The annual fee shall cover the period January through December.

  • The annual fee shall not be apportioned in the event the space is vacated
or assigned prior to the expiration of the calendar year.

  • Payment of the annual fee is due in full upon presentation of the invoice.

  • The Association shall maintain a waiting list. When a space is vacated, the
next owner on the list shall be assigned. Prior to assignment, the Manager shall ask all users of spaces to the north of the space to be vacated
if they wish to move to a more southerly space. After all such movements
are completed, the newest occupant shall be assigned to the
most northerly remaining space.

  • Spaces are not assignable or rentable by the current user. A space is
deemed vacant when an apartment is sold or transferred or when a cabana
space is not renewed.

  • Cabana service is available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. seven days a week.

  • Requests for service should be made to the Security Office (954) 563-
6011. Users are responsible for closing their cabanas after 4 p.m.
  • The Association is not responsible for loss or damage to any personal property.


  • Those wishing to supply the Association with chain, lock and key may do so.


  • Equipment for spaces shall consist of a cabana and no more than four
lounges and/or chairs in any combination. Spaces may not be used
for storage of toys, pails, floats, etc. One shade umbrella is permitted. All
equipment is to be provided by the user and remains the property of the user.

  • Nothing may be placed on the sea wall.
