Barbecue Grills

Purpose:

To regulate the use and safety of Plaza East’s barbecue grills.

Rules:

ALL PERSONS USING THE BARBECUE GRILLS DO SO AT THEIR OWN RISK!

Owners who wish to use the barbecues must make reservations with the doorperson at Lobby 3. Use of the barbecues will be limited to owners only. No children will be allowed in the barbecue area.

Grills will be available from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week.

The owners who reserve and use the grills are responsible for cleaning them after each use. A cleaning scraper, brush, and trashcan for refuse will be available near the grills. If the grills and eating area are not cleaned, the doorperson should be notified, and the negligent owner will be charged for the cleaning and repairs, if necessary.

Owners must be present for all barbecue parties, which should consist of no more than 12 people.

Only plastic dishes, plates, cups, and containers are allowed in the cooking and eating areas. No glasses or other breakable items can be used in or around the grill and eating areas. Owners must transport food and other barbecue items in sealed containers to prevent slippage.

A list of procedures, guidelines, and responsibilities will be available from the doorperson at Lobby 3.

FYI: Privately owned grills are not allowed in any common area or on balconies or catwalks.
