• A/C unit replacement
Purpose:
To prevent
damage to the main air conditioning
system.
Rule:
- When a replacement of an owner’s A/C unit is required, the following are the
• Units A & H 3 ½ tons
• Units B, C, D, G, P 2 ½ tons
• Units E, F, J, K, L, M, N 2 tons
Prior to replacement and installation, it is necessary to file an Alteration Request
Form with the Manager for approval.
A building permit from the City of Ft. Lauderdale is required.
FYI: Humidistats and time clocks are permitted. These devices are meant to
prevent mold and mildew growth and save on electricity during an owner’s
prolonged absence. The system’s designer advises that the time clock performs an important function by resetting your air conditioner in your absence should the building experience a condenser water pump shutdown. The humidistat does not perform this function.
