• General Information

  • Appliances, Air Conditioning and Plumbing Fixtures
Owners must service and/or repair their air conditioners, hot water heaters, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, showers as well as washer-dryers and all other appliances. Damages to the common areas or other units are the responsibility of the owner.

  • Car Wash
For use by owners. Located in the lower garage. Please make sure all water is turned off after use, and properly hung back up. Please take all rags, soaps, etc. from the area when you are finished. Hoses and nozzles are Association property and may not be removed. Please use trash receptacle provided.

  • Detergents
Only low suds detergents are to be used in clothes washers.

  • Garbage Disposal
Proper use of the garbage disposal requires: 1) Turn on water 2) Turn on disposal
3) Feed garbage into disposal 4) Turn off disposal 5) Keep water running for one minute.
It is recommended that disposals older than 15 years be replaced. Newer disposals are more efficient and less likely to clog.

  • Library
The library is located in the Recreation Complex. Please use the basket provided to return and to donate books. PLEASE RETURN ALL BORROWED BOOKS.

  • Lobbies
Lobby l is staffed 24 hours a day. Lobbies 2 and 3 are staffed from 8:a.m. to midnight 7 days a week. The telephone number for all lobbies is 954-563-6011.

  • Mail Box Keys
If keys are lost, a new lock must be installed. Contact the office for a Work Order. Owners are responsible for the costs.

  • Maintenance Assessments
The amount of Plaza East’s Maintenance Assessment and Reserves for Deferred Maintenance are fixed by annual budgets. Owners are billed 20 days prior to the due dates of Jan. 1, April 1, July 1 and Oct 1. Payment is due on or before the 1st day of each quarter. Owners may also pay on an annual or semi-annual basis. Payments not received by the end of the due month are referred to the Association’s attorney for collection. Checks should be made payable to Plaza East Association, Inc.




  • Manager
The Manager is on duty from 8:30a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. If an owner must contact the Manager in an emergency during off-hours, the security office must be called (954 563-6011) and security will contact the Manager.

  • Office
The office is open Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Telephone: 954-563-5616. Fax: 954-563-0592.

  • Cubbyholes
These are for Plaza East business and for owners to deliver information to each other. Please do not put anything in the cubbyholes that are unsigned. Please respect your fellow owners and do not go through another owner’s items. Please check your cubbyhole often.

  • Packages
Lobby 2 will accept all packages from the US Post Office, Federal Express, UPS, etc. for owners and will log in each package. The Lobby 2 doorperson will call owners to pick up their packages. If owners request that the package be delivered to the unit, or if an owner is not in residence, or if a package is too large for the lobby person to store, the owner will be charged a minimum of $10.00 for delivery. The Association is not responsible for the loss or damage to any such property.

  • Pest Control
An exterminator will spray each apartment on a monthly basis. A notice will be posted in each elevator the week the exterminator will be in your Tower. If you have a problem in your apartment and need the exterminator at another time, please advise the Office. Pest control does not include termite inspection or service.

  • Shopping Carts & Luggage Racks
Shopping carts are available in the lobbies and the lower garage. The luggage racks are in the lobbies and are for owners’ use only. Workmen may not use shopping carts or racks. There is a heavy-duty rack available for owners to move construction or other heavy material. Please request it from your doorperson. Please put carts/racks back into the elevator after using them.

  • Wheelchairs
A wheelchair is available to enter and leave the building and can be obtained from

  • Large Groups
If you are having guests to your home and expect more than ten (10) cars, please
advise your doorperson in advance.
