When Leaving your apartment for 7 days or more the following must be done in order to protect your property, the property of your neighbors and the common elements of the building:

ITEM: CLOSE MAIN WATER VALVE DAMAGE.
REASON: PREVENT ACCIDENTAL WATER

ITEM: TURN OFF HOT WATER HEATER
REASON: PREVENTS ACCIDNETAL WATER DAMAGE AND LOWERS ENERGY COST

ITEM: SET A/C TIMER TO AWAY
REASON: PREVENTS MILDEW AND LOWERS ENERGY COST

ITEM: CLOSE STORM SHUTTERS
REASON: PREVENT WIND AND WATER DAMAGE


PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU DO NOT HAVE HURRICANE SHUTTERS, YOU MUST REMOVE ALL FURNITURE ANS OBJECTS FROM YOUR BALCONY ESPECIALLY DURING HURRICANE SEASON.

Owners needing assistance should call the Maintenance Dept. through the office. The office should also be notified of your absence or seasonal departure.
